Information on commissions, teaching and other services is provided below.
Commissions
This estimate is based on the Fair Pay recommendations of the
Austrian Composers Association – New Music Section (2025).
It is provided as a non-binding orientation only and does not constitute a contractual offer. All fees are net of VAT.
Travel and accommodation costs related to rehearsals or performances are not included.
The preparation of performance materials (individual parts, piano reductions, etc.)
is not automatically included in the composition fee.
Participation in rehearsals or performances
(e.g. as a live electronics performer, interpreter, or similar role)
is not included in the composition fee and must be agreed upon separately.
Live electronics are treated as an additional part.
Any legal and rights-related matters
(e.g. recordings, royalties, rental fees for performance materials)
must be regulated contractually.

Teaching
In addition to his compositional work, Hugo offers music instruction. His teaching responds to each student’s individual needs and focuses on developing structural listening, musical understanding, and practical skills.

Rate:
€ 40 per 60-minute session
Teaching is offered privately and through public institutions. They can be held in person, online, as well as in English and German. Further details are available upon request.
Additional Services
